Carpet Tiles
Quadrant Carpet Tiles
Modified bitumen is the standard modular backing on all Quadrant carpet tiles. All Quadrant carpet tiles are supplied as standard in 500mm x 500mm modules, packed 20 tiles (5m2) to a box.
Tandus Carpet Tiles
ER3 is the standard modular backing on all Tandus (C&A) carpet tiles. ER3 contains 100% recycled content and the entire carpet tile contains between 44% and 59% overall recycled content including 10% post consumer content (SCS Certified). Certified an Environmentally Preferable Product by Scientific Certification Systems all ER3 backed carpet tiles achieve the California Gold Standard with a Platinum rating, the only standard product from any carpet company to achieve both of these ratings. ER3 is 100% closed-loop recyclable in our existing recycling process.
ER3 RS has the added benefit of the adhesive being pre-applied to the backing, eliminating the need for wet adhesives, virtually eliminating VOC’s and unpleasant odours thereby preserving indoor air quality.
All Tandus carpet tiles are supplied as standard in 24" x 24" (609mm x 609mm) modules.
Powerbond
Tandus’ hybrid resilient closed cell cushion 6’ wide sheet flooring, called Powerbond, combines the durability of hard-surface flooring with the appearance and style of a soft surface. Originally engineered to withstand the unique needs of the education and healthcare markets, our Powerbond products have evolved in design. Now also offering innovative design solutions to the corporate, retail and hospitality markets, Powerbond provides a high-performance solution for every space. Designed for high-traffic performance with excellent rollability, Powerbond six-foot structured backing is warranted for 25 years, or three times the life expectancy of a typical carpet. 100% closed-loop recyclable in our existing recycling process. Molecularly bound seams make this product impermeable to moisture.
Powerbond RS has the added benefit of the adhesive being pre-applied to the backing, eliminating the need for wet adhesives, virtually eliminating VOC’s and unpleasant odours thereby preserving indoor air quality. Powerbond RS is fast and easy to install and repair, eliminating downtime or costly disruption.
Powerbond is supplied in 6’ wide rolls and is designed for Direct Adhesion to the prepared subfloor.
Broadloom
Quadrant Broadloom
Actionbac is the standard backing on all Quadrant broadloom products. Actionbac is a synthetic, polypropylene based stretchable secondary backing.
All Quadrant broadloom carpets are supplied in 4 metre wide rolls. Typical roll length is 25 linear metres, or 100 square metres. Quadrant broadloom carpets are designed for Direct Adhesion to the prepared subfloor.
Tandus Broadloom
Super-Lok is the standard broadloom backing on all Tandus (Monterey and Crossley) broadloom products. It is an enriched synthetic latex backing that combines an economic construction with high performance. Additional product attributes of Super-Lok include: Low VOCs, compliance with CRI Green Label Plus which is an independent testing program that identifies VOCs and establishes the highest standard for indoor air quality. Super-Lok has outstanding tuft bind and improved lamination strength and provides protection against edge ravel.
Tandus broadloom is supplied in 12' (3.66m) wide rolls and is designed for Direct Adhesion to the prepared subfloor. Cushion backing is also available on all Tandus broadloom styles.
